Welcome, hello!

We hear you’re curious about our silly little club. Thanks for taking the time to lead your own investigation into who the Curious Friend Club really is. You’re in the right place.

Right about now, you’re probably thinking something like:

What the heck is this site? Why are there so many posts about random topics? Who are these people, and why should I care about them?

We can see you’re someone who likes to ask questions. That’s awesome, so are we. And we’re assuming you like to find the answers to those questions too. You’ll never guess, so do we!

Curious Friends Club is a place for people who have an insatiable thirst to learn about anything and everything that peaks your interest. Sound familiar?

In this little club, we have Mark Lorence, Meghan Cain-Davis, and Chris Davis. We’ve been friends for a long time, but we’ll go into that story elsewhere.

When did CFC start?

We each consider ourselves lifelong learners. Whether it’s music, fitness, coding, cooking, writing, or something more obscure, we get excited about learning a new skill. In June 2018 Mark suggested starting a blog to track our exploration of all things tech, but then Chris had the brilliant idea to call the blog Curious Friends Club. On a Friday night in July, Meghan and Chris stayed up far too late brainstorming all of the possibilities a blog like this could offer. And so…..

Curious Friends Club was born.

What can I expect?

Since we like to learn a bit about a lot of things, but not necessarily a lot about…uh…a bit of things, we decided to create a little space on the web to journal our findings. Not only is this for our own recollection and archives, we want this to be a space where you learn and get inspired.

You can expect some entries to be very short, some very long, but all will be centered on our core principle: finding the answer to a question that caught our interest.

For example, you may find Chris wondering how to cook eggs that aren’t gross. Mark may dig deeper into the history of a new genre of music that he’s developing an ear for. Meghan may write about a lifestyle change she’s exploring.  We’ll be all over the map, but, hey, we’re curious and so are you, so it’ll be fun.

How can I join the club?

If you’re interested in reading the explorations, meanderings, and experiments of three friends, this is a great place to be. If you’re not into that, well, we hope you’ll give us a try.

Either way, thanks for stopping by.

P.S.: We’re always looking for new content ideas and an opportunity to learn! If you have a question that you’d like for us to dig into, please share it with us!
